In my research, I worked on designing and simulating a low-cost solar absorber plate to improve heat transfer efficiency for applications like solar dryers in Bangladesh. After reviewing past works, I identified Nickel oxide nanoparticles as the best coating material and validated my Excel-based computational model with existing studies. The next step is to fabricate the plate and test its real-world performance.

In my research, I developed and optimized a computational model for a solar still to address safe drinking water scarcity in coastal and remote areas of Bangladesh. I designed a stepped solar still using meteorological data, tested different materials, and achieved up to 4 liters of distilled water per day in Dhaka using polystyrene foam, copper mesh, and external reflectors. The cost analysis showed that clean water could be produced at about 1.42 BDT per liter, making it a cost-effective and sustainable solution.

I co-designed a rocker bogie suspension system for a Mars rover prototype during my university years. The focus was on achieving stability and smooth mobility across uneven terrain. This project strengthened my skills in mechanical design, robotics, and teamwork.
